The Solar Radiation Atlas for Provence is a free set of digital maps describing the yearly and monthly average solar radiation that can be exploited in Provence for the production of electricity, and for research and educational purposes. It aims at supporting the development of solar energy in the region and a better efficiency in the sitting and sizing of solar plants. It is already exploited by companies.

Time period of the exploited HelioClim3 values: 2005-2010
The maps have been calibrated using the daily values of 30 ground stations for the Global Horizontal Irradiation, and 3 for the Beam Normal Irradiation.
